Liquid Eyeliner

I forgot to put this other commercial up that I do NOT like and really annoys me, so I'm beginning my blog with it:

I don't know why, but I cannot stand this commercial.

Anyway, I've been experimenting with some liquid eyeliner the past two days. It's hard to get right, because mistakes show up very easily. Here are a couple of pictures:

Before I first tried liquid eyeliner, I watched some YouTube videos that really helped with the application!

That's all for today. Nothing too exciting! I have tomorrow off from work, so I'm very much looking forward to that :) Maybe I'll start working out again! ... orrrrr maybe I'll sleep in then lounge around my apartment, taking full advantage of my day off. We shall see!

I've been having a rough couple of weeks, but the thing that I am looking forward to most is visiting my mama over Thanksgiving week! Thanksgiving just isn't the same without her :)

Commercials & Wine

Current least favorite commercial:

Current favorite commercial:

Also--side note--I'm seven days sober! Decided to take a little alcohol hiatus, the only exception being when I share a nice bottle of wine with Ryan for our two year anniversary on November 29. Until then and after that, I'll be off the drink! Current "goal" is midnight of New Year's Eve.

Cute and/or Funny Pinterest Animals...because that's what I need right now.

So give me hope in the darkness that I will see the light
Cause oh they gave me such a fright
And I will hold on with all of my might
Just promise me that we'll be alright

One Year

One year ago, I had been dating Ryan for almost one year.

One year ago marked one year working at CVS #1658 in Avon, Indiana.

One year ago marked two years since I started working at CVS #6208 in Louisville, Kentucky.

One year ago, I was beginning my first year of grad school at Butler.

One year ago, my social anxiety was manageable.

One year ago, I had never been on an antidepressant and could say that I had never experienced depression.

One year ago, I was preparing to move into a new apartment with my best friend, Michelle.

One year ago, my other best friend, Sarah, had just gotten married.

One year ago, I was the Maid of Honor in Sarah's wedding.

One year ago, I ate lunch at Wendy's with my mama.

One year ago, I got the worst news of my life and my world would never be the same.

Here's to looking forward to a better second year than was the first.
